Danny Goler and the Code of Reality

An independent archive tracking Danny Goler's DMT laser experiments, Code of Reality, Project Veilbreak, the scientific debate, and the search for evidence behind one of the strangest perceptual phenomena being investigated today.

The phenomenon in 60 seconds

People exposed to a particular structured-light stimulus — a 650 nm red laser passed through a diffraction grating — while in an altered visual state report code-like imagery: tiny glyphs, geometric structures, writing-like forms. Danny Goler, who first described the observation in ~2020, argues the phenomenon may have profound implications about the nature of reality.

What we can say so far: conventional explanations involving optics (laser speckle) and visual processing have not yet been ruled out. No published controlled study has demonstrated that independent observers see identical symbols at identical coordinates. This site tracks exactly where that line sits.

Why this is interesting

01

Repeatability

A substantial number of observers report broadly related visual phenomena under the protocol.

02

Spatial stability

Some participants describe the imagery as attached to or constrained by the illuminated region.

03

Shared descriptions

Different people report broadly similar categories of glyphs and structures.

04

The unanswered question

No published controlled study has yet demonstrated exact same-symbol, same-coordinate correspondence between blinded observers. Everything hinges here.

Evidence status

The core of this site: what is established, what is reported, and what remains undemonstrated.

Established

  • DMT alters visual processing (peer-reviewed).
  • Coherent laser light creates structured speckle/interference (classical optics).

Documented observationally

  • Some observers report code-like visuals (self-reports; non-peer-reviewed pilot study).

Not yet demonstrated

  • Identical glyphs across observers
  • Identical spatial coordinates
  • Objective information transmission
  • A computational substrate of reality

Projects

Organization

Code of Reality

The organization attempting to investigate the phenomenon — and the label for the phenomenon itself. We keep the two separate.

Research framework

Project Veilbreak

Open experiment registry and data-collection framework, with an independent quality-focused dashboard.

Documentary

The Discovery

The documentary project — with its stronger claims explicitly labelled as project claims until independently verifiable.

Experiment

Vision Pro Experiment

The attempt to spatially register subjective observations — and its important methodological limitations.

Do independent observers see the same specific information?

"Both people saw writing-like forms."

A shared category of experience. Consistent with several ordinary mechanisms.

"Both independently identified the same symbol at the same coordinates."

Exact correspondence. Far more extraordinary — and not yet demonstrated under controlled, blinded conditions.

How this site handles extraordinary claims

We distinguish what observers report from what experiments demonstrate. Primary sources are linked wherever possible. Scientific claims are evaluated separately from metaphysical interpretations. Evidence ratings change when better data become available. See our methodology and corrections log.

Open questions

  1. Are exact symbols reproducible across independent observers?
  2. Do reported symbol locations match?
  3. Does the perceived structure follow rotation of the optical stimulus?
  4. Does coherent light matter?
  5. Can matched non-coherent visual noise reproduce the effect?
  6. How important is DMT?
  7. Can naive sober observers perceive related structures?
  8. How much does prior exposure to the "code" narrative matter?
  9. Does eye accommodation predict onset?
  10. Can the phenomenon transmit objective information?
